Tumpak Sewu Waterfall is formed in the flow of the Glidih River.which has its head on Mount Semeru. Will be close at 12.00 due to avoid the overload visitors.
How does the Bromo Sunrise and Tumpak Sewu Tour work?
Tour begins in Surabaya at midnight (23.00 to 0030) leading to Bromo, where travelers can witness the breathtaking golden sunrise and the magnificent panoramic views of the caldera and Mount Semeru from a viewpoint.
Following this, participants will traverse the volcanic sand to reach the location where they will ascend 250 steps to the rim of the crater, and then returning to the starting point in Cemoro Lawang village for breakfast will be the initial activity, followed by a journey to Tumpak Sewu via Lumajang to explore the various attractions.
The day will conclude with a return to Surabaya in the late afternoon.

Day 1 From Surabaya to Bromo
- 23.30 Pick up from your location in Surabaya and the transfer to Bromo via Probolinggo
Day 2 Bromo Sunrise and Tumpak Sewu Tour
- 02.30 Upon reaching Cemoro Lawang village, take a moment enjoy a coffee break at local cafe-shop while you wait for the jeep to arrive. Once it does, you’ll be transferred to a stunning viewpoint where you can witness the breathtaking sunrise and the magnificent panoramic scenery.
- 03.30 Starting the tour with Jeep 4×4, we cruise through the volcanic sand on the caldera and tackled the steep path leading up to the viewpoint.
- 05.00 at view points, we enjoy the breathtaking sunrise as it gradually unfolds, revealing a stunning panoramic view. afther that going downhill to the sand area
- 07.00 Walking from jeep parking area to the location where visitors climb up to the rim of carter, from where the visitors could watch the magificent panoram view.
- 08.00 Heading back to the starting point at Cemoro Lwang village to grab some breakfast at the clean restaurant.
- 09.00 Head from Mount Bromo to Tumpak Sewu
- 12:00 Arrive at Tumpak Sewu, where a local tour guide will be met to commence the exploration of various sites.
- 15:00 After completing the tour, return to Surabaya.
